Charlie has set up two of my guitars now, an Epiphone Firebird and a Jackson Pro Series Star. The Firebird hadn't been played and wouldn't intonate, the Star had a faulty switch. With both he set them up after I dropped them off, sending me a photo of them looking polished. He then checked and adjusted them midweek and then before collection, again updating me after doing the work. He tried to repair the faulty toggle switch, but it didn't meet his standards and so he ordered a new one in for me, again contacting me and asking permission to do so. He also corrected shoddy wiring in the Jackson, as again it didn't meet his standards. Throughout my experience Charlie was friendly, professional, communicative, and responsive, and the fact he has high standards for the guitars assured me that I was getting a good service -- and of course both guitars were much nicer to play once they were back! Highly recommended, and I will be coming back to him for any work I want done on my guitars and, let's face it, the guitars I will inevitably add to my collection...
