This company sets the bar for how a solicitors should treat their customers. And the bar is set high! Be prepared for your vendors solicitors (if you are buying) to fail on a number of matters and for one of the Robert Meaton & Co conveyancing team to pick them up and work through the issue despite the other side's behaviour. I have bought a few houses through them now using two different partners. The phone is always answered, calls are returned, paperwork (where required) is always delivered and the details of your purchase are handled as if they really matter. All members of the team seem comfortable dealing by email making the process have as few unnecessary postal delays as possible. Having your important matters down on an email trail is very reassuring when dealing with important purchases as these. I never needed to actually go to their office which just goes to show that in business it is the relationships you build up that matter even if some of them are just at the end of a phone or on an email. I would not hesitate to recommend and hope to be able to continue to use them for a number of legal services.
