I cant rate Robert highly enough. 5 stars aren't enough. If I could give 10 stars I would. I buried my father in July using another funeral service in Eastleigh, I was left feeling like just a number, they made errors etc. So when my mother passed away, my partner suggested speaking with Robert as he had recently conducted her friends funeral and did a really good job. I contacted Robert, and from start to finish he made everything easy. Unlike the other place, with Robert he took care of everything professionally, he made us feel more than just a number , the attention to detail and the care that he put into arranging mums funeral was second to none. I would recommend Robert to anyone.

Robert Shipp was the most caring and respectful funeral director you could hope to meet. He treated my darling late husband ,me and his 4 daughters with kindness and didn't rush us at all. We had a direct cremation as my husband wished and Rob kept me upto date with what would happen.

I attended a funeral on Tuesday 26th July at Wessex Vale Crematorium. Robert Shipp was amazing throughout the whole process. My friend's mother in law had sadly passed away and my friend and her family needed a sensitive and caring funeral director at a really difficult time. With this funeral director that is exactly what she got. He organised a wonderful funeral in very tricky, sensitive circumstances. He offered a very personal service that went far above and beyond what was expected. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a professional service during what is a really difficult time.

I am absolutely disgusted & appalled at the services provided by Robert Shipp for my mother’s funeral. I was unable to say my last ever goodbyes and see my mum when I had travelled from London a day before the funeral especially for this. Robert played God & took a sacred moment away from a grieving daughter. I am in complete shock & left heart broken. Not knowing If I will ever overcome this.

Where you hold such a highly sensitive role within a community, values should hold more than a financial transaction. Unfortunately for the daughter, two sons and grandchildren of my deceased gran (totalling 25 people), Rob held no compassion or integrity when it came to my grandmothers funeral. At his customers request we were not able to touch or see my gran for the very last time at the funeral directors. He also enforced a request that no sons or grandsons can carry in her coffin to the crematorium. We are now left to support some very traumatised family members who may never get closure for there mother/grandmother. Integrity 1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. 2. the state of being whole and undivided.
