    Only giving 1 star because you can’t give 0. I used them in the past and they were ok, but I used them in January - the car was mouldy inside, the tyre went flat whilst I was driving. I called and they said tyres were my responsibility, and that they could offer no help other than giving the RAC’s number. I took the tyre to be fixed myself and was advised there was no nail or quick puncture so clearly a long-standing issue. I returned the car at end of Jan and they still have the £250 deposit hold on my account. S&B please return this ASAP. Avoid.

    Company used to be good now terrible. Cars/vans constantly breaking down with no help from them or refunds. Go elsewhere if you don't want the headaches. Awful company do not recommend

    pleasant people, good service, van however, not so good, service light on, brake warning lights on ,did the job, but shouldn't really be on the road, also,£40 a day is a con,£60with no deposit or ,get this,£250 on your card,not returned for 10 days,

    Appalling, inconsiderate service. Had booked a van to use for a property transfer / move. Queued for 40 minutes only to be told our van had not been returned by the previous customer! Surely if you're hiring out a van, you check it has been returned and if not, at least you phone your client to let them know in advance. Also, a suitable alternative should be offered. This is NOT the way to run a car / van hire company. S and B left us very disappointed with a huge problem to solve at the last minute - dreadful, unreliable service. Am shocked they could be so insensitive to their clients' needs. Expect to be disappointed!

    I have never been so upset by a company. My mum came to collect the van this morning to help move my university things and was told that the van had not been returned by previous user. What kind of organisation skills are these? I am deeply upset especially because this was planned many weeks in advance and now I am stuck with no idea what to do and my university starts in 2 days! No suitable alternative was provided! All I can say is do not be surprised if you get to the company and they don’t have your vehicle. I don’t like writing bad reviews but I think this behaviour was shocking and everyone who is looking to hire from here should take this into consideration.
