No drunkards outside or tomfoolery within the premise from any bagabons. The selection of breads was less than satisfactory, but what can I expect at 11:30pm. My faith in Sainsburys was restored when the lady at the till swiftly located my preferred rum and checked us out within a minute. Would recommend, take the other reviews with a pinch of salt.

A couple of nights ago a young man was collapsed outside sainsburys by what looked like a significant amount of intoxication. Myself who have sadly lost a few loved ones through a very similar situation which didn’t end up so lucky as they had no one around them at the time, did the natural caring thing and went to sit with this young man while the workers in sainsburys had gone inside after they rang an ambulance. As like most caring natured people I couldn’t face seeing someone laying on a pavement by themselves. I sat with the guy just to make sure he didn’t choke on his vomit and just to reassure him. When the ambulance arrived the sainsburys workers came, the ambulance lady asked if I knew the guy I was about to explain before I was rudely interrupted by a blonde lady round about in her 50s saying she’s just another drunken who doesn’t know him while she pushed me for no reason with force. This extremely upset me and shocked me as it would with anyone else in my situation. It made me realise how people completely get judged on there appearance no matter there job tittle (carer) , age, gender, clothes and the list goes on. I’ve wrote this review in hope that this reaches out to this worker just to politely say that actions really do hurt and affect people’s lives and thought processes and that I’d hate for something like this to happen to someone else so next time just be kind and think.
