This review is for anyone looking to work for Netsells. I was offered a senior developer role back in November. Before I accepted the offer, I was initially a little hesitant to work for an agency. I was in a very secure role and I specifically asked in the interview process if they ever got rid of people depending on workload. I was assured that it never happens and they always have more than enough work. I accepted the offer and handed in my 3 month notice period in my old role. During my notice period I had a couple of meetings with my line manager and HR. Everything seemed fine but suddenly 2 and a half weeks before my start date, HR got in touch telling me they are withdrawing the offer. I was told it was due to “some changes with our projects” and that the new projects coming in have been allocated to different departments. I had to go back to the stress of applying for a new job when I was excited to start a new role. Not to mention all the stress that comes with not having a job and mortgage & bills to pay. I will add I was paid 1 week’s notice period. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I did, so just wanted to put what happened to me out there. I wouldn’t recommended anyone to work for this company.
