I needed a battery very quickly phoned a couple of places, no joy for at least a week. Remembered Shield and rung them. This was at 1.20pm on the 8/10/21. They immediately checked to see if they had one, they did I asked if they could fit it. They said if you can pop along we will do it straight away. This they did and I was home by 2.30pm. If there were more stars I would give because of politeness, efficiency and a very good price. It certainly wasn’t my looks that got me this service.

Very helpful and efficient. They supplied me with batteries much cheaper than Halford were offering and found me some one to fit them too because there normal fitter did not feel experienced enough for my complex Motorhome fittings. Quite exceptional really.

I have updated this review from 1 star to 4 stars because this company actually take customer service seriously and got in touch with me after I left a more negative review about poor service I received on both occasions I used them. Well done Shield Batteries! Yes, things go wrong sometimes and that's fine, but what makes ALL the difference is what we do to make things right afterwards.

It's slightly old school which means the staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about their products. Good prices as well, I bought a battery for my Mercedes van from them which was both cheaper and more powerful than those offered by the usual motor spares outlets.

Great honest service. After 13 months my Shield car battery failed to hold a charge so I phoned and was asked to bring it in for testing. The guys immediately tested and saw that the battery was faulty and immediately was given a new battery as a free of charge replacement. I can not recommend Shield enough, they are an honest and trusted team.
