Although we haven't been for a while due to family illness we have always found Helen to be friendly and accommodating, to the point that when we've left our caravan for our elderly parents to use she always made sure that they were on a pitch near the toilets/showers so that they didn't have to walk too far. We appreciate her rules because not everyone wants someone else's children running around screaming or loud music playing. The facilities are adequate and clean, the pub is great too. From some of the bad reviews I don't recognise the site that we have been going to for several years.

Lovely little campsite close to the river. Nice walks along the river into the countyside. Quiet pub next door which does do food, but isnt open on a Sunday. We were greater by Helen the site owner who was lovely and took time to show us to our pitch and explain where everything was. The site is clean, grass neat and pitches level and solid. Toilet facilities whilst not the most modern, are perfectly maintained, exceptionally clean and presentable. Lovely hot showers available with a 50p token. I was more than happy with my stay and would be happy to visit again.

Lovely little campsite next to a pub which is a bonus. Train station is very close which can take you to Arundel in a few minutes or littlehampton, Bognor or Brighton. Trains are quite frequent which can disturb if you are a light sleeper. Facilities are a little old but very clean and work well. Showers are piping hot and spotless (50p token required). Helen the owner is lovely and mostly easy going. There are a few rules the same as any campsite and as long as you adhere to them you will be fine. Respect the others on the site and the surroundings as we all should. Arundel is beautiful and a must see. The castle is gorgeous
