After Contacting shorts from a recommendation, we agreed on a quote and date to install a Diesel night heater to a Transporter. I was then contacted to say that there was 1 part of the install KIT that shorts could not get, due to the normal supplier not having it in stock. I agreed that I would then source the kit separately and we would continue with the install as planned. During this process I asked about the price of the kit and the price of installation separately, as I was sourcing part myself so wanted to ensure the price I was paying for part I was buying was inline. Turns out it was, so I placed the order. I was then contacted to say shorts would no longer like to do the work (despite me now having the part on route, day off booked) When I rang to find out why. It was because the "boss" didn't like me asking about the different prices!! This is extremely poor service after everything was agreed and stinks of a company that has something to hide about its pricing
