Called to hire a Timberwolf wood chipper. Spoke to Gavin who confirmed clear pricing including hire, insurance and fuel costs plus vat. Machine was available from the next day as they had to bring it in from another depot. Gavin called promptly next morning and confirmed machine was in depot. When I arrived Rob in the workshop was happy to show me around the machine and even helped load it on to the back of my vehicles trailer hitch and check lighting. Net net : Good clear pricing with good support. Great team at the Milford branch. Highly recommended!!

The equipment was solid and did the job, but there are three challenges I had: 1) Communication is awful - They don't tell you when they will drop off, nor do they tell you when they will pick up the equipment. They don't explain their rules and particulars of hire, and what they say on the phone/in the office, and what their website says don't match. 2) Response time/general customer service is horrible - I called several times and left several messages, and got a call back only on occasion and had to keep chasing. 3) Their prices are misleading, as the price on their website doesn't include a lot of things that they add-on later, such as VAT, fuel, delivery and insurance. (And there is no mention on their website of them being included, offered or not included). So you rent thinking that the price is the price, and it ends up being almost double what they tell you. For those reasons, I won't be hiring from them again, and suggest you investigate other sites.
