    Dear Showsec, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with your company's hiring process. I applied for the position of Event Safety Steward several months ago, and despite passing the initial online interview, I have been subject to a lengthy and arduous hiring process that has caused me undue stress and wasted a significant amount of my time. After providing proof of my right to work and address, I was required to attend an induction class and complete a series of 48-hour online courses, which I diligently completed. However, your company continued to request further documentation, including additional proof of ID and addresses, as well as bank details. Despite providing this information, I was then asked to provide my 5-year tax record from HMRC, which I was only able to provide for the three years I have been in the UK. I explained to your pre-employment check department that I was unable to provide tax records from my country of origin due to my self-employment income not meeting the threshold for filing. However, I did provide proof of my self-employment from my country of origin as an alternative. Despite all of this, I have now been informed that my application has been withdrawn due to a gap in my employment history from 2019 to 2022. I have explained to your company that during this time, I had no right to work in the UK, and from March 2019 to April 2022, I was a student at Leeds City College from March 2021 til April 2022, completing an English course called ESO level 1, for which I have provided evidence and contact details for your verification. However, despite my efforts to provide all necessary information and evidence, your company has not only wasted my time but also obtained a significant amount of my personal information, including my identity, address, employment record, and immigration record. I am now concerned that Showsec may misuse my personal information due to this unprofessional and disorganized hiring process. I demand an explanation for the mishandling of my application, the misuse of my personal information, and the failure to provide me with a job contract after such a lengthy and exhaustive hiring process.     Mainly employ bullies and have a toxic culture. Poor pay, treatment of staff, treatment of the public and often cut numbers to save cash. There are some great people who work through them but most are poached or leave for better things.

    Went to see Trombone Shorty last month at The Ritz in Manchester. My husband contacted the venue as I have an ankle injury and would struggle to stand for the whole concert. They were fantastic. We were told to ask for John who looks after customers with mobility issues. He was amazing. He couldn't have done more. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert, felt really safe and my husband could stand on the front row knowing i was looked after. Thank you John and Ritz

    I attended the AO arena on the 12th of May 2022. I was at the national lottery Big jubilee event with my 3 neices and we left to go to another place when my neice realised she'd lost her passport. I went back to the Victoria station entrance but I was advised I couldn't go back into the arena and one of the supervisors on shift radioed though and asked another member of staff to check the seats where we had been sitting. After around 10 minutes wait the passport was returned to me. I can't thank the staff enough for all the help. Also the lovely supervisor.
