This is the most extraordinary church with the most amazing sense of Peace. Its open daily and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND latin Low Mass and especially Compline of an evening. The latin Gregorian harmonies of the night prayers are breathtaking. Canons Weaver,Montjean and Poucin are really welcoming. The architecture inside and out is really worth a visit

Wonderfully restored building. A good balance between maintaining the shrine church as a place of worship and also providing information for casual visitors.

The three Masses I attended at Ss Peter and Paul & St Philomena were honestly some of the most reverent and beautiful Masses I’ve ever attended. The atmosphere created by the Canons and the beautiful altars there make for a celebration of the Latin Mass that’s worth the trip to New Brighton.
