I have tried Chinese medicine before, but this is the best one so far. Schulan is brilliant with the acupuncture needles. The herbs take time to have an effect but got the job done. Would recommend this place.

Had the most amazing time once again at Shula tang clinic. My 81 year old mother has had a lot of pain in her back for a real long time and we were so pleased to have got an appointment with Shulan. We have been hear before and could not believe how the medication worked ,or the acupuncture ,I am still in disbelief even though I have seen it with my own eyes. I can not thank you enough for all your help.A lovely place to visit and made so welcome. If like me very sceptical about believing the Chinese medicine would work then you will be as gob smacked as I was .

Great place for acupuncture however I feel there could be better communication and customer service skills as there was no clear information on how my treatment was going to be carried out or any information during the treatment but I did feel benefit from the treatment the place was clean.

Having had hormonal menopausal symptoms my skin was suffering hormonal breakouts . Dr Shulan listened and studied photos and prescribed herbal treatment to heal from the inside as I had been using over the counter topical treatments. Healing from the inside has greatly improved my skin balancing menopausal symptoms too . I would recommend Chinese herbal treatment alongside advice also given by Dr Shulan on diet and lifestyle changes to compliment the herbal treatment. This is a way forward for us all heal yourself the inside .

I had the greatest TCM experience in Shulan Clinic！ I had back and leg pains for years, and I have tried many different treatments such as Chiropractic, but none of them fix my problems until I came to this clinic. Dr. Shulan is a kind, outgoing and professional doctor, she just did acupuncture twice on me and I can not believe most pain in my back is disappeared! After Acupuncture I took the Chinese herbal tea she give to me, I felt much much better when I finished the medicine and my back is fully recovered. Thank you Dr. Shulan, I really want to give you 100 stars since you are my life saver!

I just felt it necessary to say what an incredible health care and Professor Shulan really is. My wife has been going to her now for some months for a chronic pain condition. My wife was ill this Friday and only realised the morning of her appointment. Thankfully I cancelled for her as she tested positive for covid a few hours later. Anyway my real reason for this review is that Shulans care is so incredibly generous and person centered. She really treats the individual, this is not the first time one of my wife's appointments has been amended at short notice, and not a word of complaint. Only concern. I have seen such improvement in my wife's condition and therefore her whole outlook on life has improved. Shulan is only one person but really manages to provide such incredible life altering care to so many. I've read a couple of disgruntled reviews on here about waiting times but you'd expect the same in any other health care setting. I really don't understand why people aren't able to see that posibly the reason you're waiting is that she's helping someone in great need. As she would you, or any other client. (I'd also add here that my wife has never waited longer than 10 minutes, & perhaps there are busy times?) We are very privileged in this country with the NHS being free at the point of care, but we are creeping ever closer to privatisation and really scary times. I think if people understood what went into their care and treatment they perhaps wouldn't be so fast with the criticism at a little bit of a wait. So if you haven't ever been to shulans clinic for treatment please don't let the few negatives in the review section put you off. I've noted no one on here mentions Chris Shulans apprentice, he gives my wife a massage before her treatment and from what I've heard that really helps with her pain before lying on the beds and to relax her before. Honestly 10/10 would recommend 👌🏻 👏 😊
