    Ate at Siam on 27/05/23. Had the “Samurai” Teppanyaki set meal for 2. Food was cooked beautifully, chef did the appropriate theatrical performance as would be expected. Fabulous mix of food. Had a great dining experience while chatting to other diners at the same table. One point to note is that if you arrive on your table first and the table takes a while to fill up, then you might be sitting for some time. We arrived as second couple on the table, and in all the meal was 2.5hrs in total, which could be an issue if you had a time limit because of transport, parking etc. We weren’t in a hurry, but just bear in mind that this meal is an experience not to be rushed.

    Favourite Thai restaurant in Chester. Have been going there for more than 10 yrs and the food has always been delicious. Staff are attentive. I prefer the Thai to the teppanyaki but for first timers the teppanyaki show is fairly good.

    Wide variety of Thai and Asian dishes. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty. Went for lunch and came back again for dinner! Didn't try the teppanyaki but did the Thai restaurant upstairs. Not busy at lunch on a Saturday but very busy Saturday night. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options

    Wish I could give more that'll 5 stars for atmosphere. Although we were slightly cramped around the "table", the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. The food was excellent, and the portions are generous. It's always entertaining seeing the chef prepare your food right in front of you. It's even better when they juggle eggs on spatulas and throw sautéed potatoes into your mouth from half way across the room. Wish I could have eaten more, but I was stuffed. The tempura veg. That I had for a started would have easily served 2. The steak was a tiny bit under cooked for me, but not a problem. If you like medium-rare, consider asking for medium, or maybe just ask the chef to throw it back on the plate for another minute?

    Ordered 100£ of food for four people including a dish called: Fried rice!!! That came without rice as apparently it does not include rice. While the food was ok, the value for money is definitely not there. Duck sprinrolls were flavourless and Massaman curry and Fried rice came without rice. Weird!!! Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian selection
