We were booked into Sixteen B bed and breakfast by my daughter as part of our Christmas present. The communication prior to arrival with my daughter was excellent. The village of Dunnington is beautiful, and just on the outskirts of York, so easy to get access on the bus, the park and ride or to drive yourself. Parking was easy on roadside outside the B&B. The room was immaculate, very clean, really well presented and very warm. After driving through the wind and rain, a comfortable room and a cuppa was exactly what was needed. Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and biscuits were all provided. The bathroom was also immaculate, and the shower excellent. We were over the moon with the room, the decor was lovely and it had a homely feel. We had an excellent sleep, in a very comfortable bed. In the morning we headed downstairs to the cafe. The staff were lovely, very friendly and very accommodating. We had a good choice of cereal and fruit, as well as fresh orange juice. The breakfast menu was superb, I had a cooked breakfast and my wife had pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. The food was delicious. A great way to start the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will most certainly look to stay again in the future . We highly recommend this B&B.

We booked this B&B so that we could stay outside of the city during our short stay and it was the best choice! The staff are lovely and friendly, the rooms are modern with comfortable beds and despite being in a small village it's easy to get into the city either via the bus from the village or the park and ride just a few minutes down the road! The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice! We'll be back in the future!
