Honestly such a lovely little cafe nestled in York. My partner and I began visiting York twice a year on both of our birthdays three years ago - and this was the very first place we had a meal in together. We will never forget sitting on the table outside in the gentle autumn rain whilst our every need was tended to with great love and care. Every single time we go to York it has become a ritual of ours to return to Double Dutch. And every time it feels just as wonderful as the first. Thank you to all the lovely staff for creating such a memorable milestone that we will always cherish in our relationship.

The best pancakes we’ve had. Ingredients were cooked into the pancakes which made them special. Fresh ingredients and the drinks were incredible. An overwhelming amount of choice and customisation available. It’s a very cosy little building but the staff were all friendly and inviting. Would highly recommend.
