When dear Carol said let's go to Sotirios, I have to admit, my heart sank. Why? Coz I went last Summer and the meal was....average, so didn't return. However, it was Carol's birthday and therefore her choice. Fair enough. Wonderful surprise, everyone!!! Prawns ordinary I suppose but big portions and really good! Excellent. First course: liver and bacon yum. Result. Pud. Again ordinary but the white choc and raspberry roulade went down a treat so as far as I am concerned, ordinary but tasty equals success! I mentioned Carol's birthday to the waiter ( it was genuinely earlier that week) and we got a candle in a cake, which was very sweet of them! So we put some more money in the meter and stayed for 2 more drinks and 2 more rounds of coffee. An extremely pleasant lunch, thank you. Back for my Birthday next month.
