I asked for a quote for some repairs to a garden wall. Someone turned up on the appointed day and I told him what I wanted. He said he would take some photos and make some notes so I went back inside. About 2 minutes later I remembered something I needed to tell him and I went back outside, but he was nowhere to be seen. And I never received a quote. What a waste of time! Why bother turning up at all?

Southern Land Services Ltd. carried out tree reduction on a large Elm tree which was badly overgrown. the three men involved were very pleasant and polite and worked hard to carry out the work. I was very pleased with the result and especially how well they cleared up after they had finished work on the tree.
