  I’ve been using the KonMari Method for sometime now and my confidence with certain categories has grown. In my most recent tidying festivals when I reached sentimental I kept getting stuck. I would revisit the other categories in the hope it would get me through my sticking point. No matter how many times I rewatched the Netflix series or read my cliff notes I still couldn’t make the progress I wanted. While reading “Kurashi at Home” two things immediately stood out. When are you going to start and what is your vision? I read this as “How much longer are you going to put off asking for help?” I’d already been following Spark Joy on Instagram and following the advise. So I had a look to see if I could book a virtual call. With my youngest due the vision was clear to be able to live in a bubble with my newborn and eldest having all my attention. Without the unsorted mess calling me in the background. It is not through lack of trying that I haven’t succeeded so i took action and reached out to Katrina. During our call there were so many lightbulb moments and realisations. Katrina pointed out that when I talked about certain items the words I spoke said they sparked joy but my facial expressions and body language did not agree. I hadn’t even tuned into that. From our talk I decided to make a decision. Either park the items I was too emotional about because of recent events and be ok with that. Or address the uncomfortable. In my work we have a saying. “Get comfortable with the uncomfortable, it’s where the magic happens.” Getting this done was more important than parking it. Katrina reassured me it would be difficult and emotional and that’s ok. My key reminder before starting. Do it with joy! From just one virtual call I have cleared my first hurdle and gained some much needed momentum and tools. I also know that should I reach a sticking point Katrina is just a phone call away.   I have followed Katrina for a while on Instagram having stopped and started my tidying journey on my own. My husband booked a session with Katrina as a gift for my birthday! Having worked through some categories on my own Katrina spent the day with me in getting my children’s room sorted into a clear space for them to enjoy and see what toys they had to play with and avoid the overwhelm. Katrina offered some great tips throughout our day and my girls were so excited to see their clear room they immediately started to play together. They have even now started to discard the toys that no longer spark joy for them and their room has remained tidy! I wouldn’t have any doubt in recommending Katrina to help you and I hope to work with her again soon in order to complete all the categories.

  I am so pleased with the transformation of my wardrobe - I thought that I’d already sorted through my clothes before the session but seeing everything spread out in front of me would have been quite daunting without Katrina’s help. She manages to strike the balance between being friendly and professional just right and we worked together to find the best solution for me - that was really important to me, rather than feeling that I had to conform to a specific method to make this work.

  The minute Kat stepped into my home, I knew I was in good hands. I have read Marie Kondo’s book so I (thought) I knew roughly what to expect until Kat turned up with her kind aura & smiley face. Kat brought another level of efficiency, the extra support mentally and physically which is hugely needed but often something we don’t always prioritise. We started off in my bedroom and worked our way around the flat. Everything feels soooo much lighter after the tidying. This feeling is priceless. ♥️ I’m pleased to say, my brother saw an amazing transformation and started tidying his room weeks after which is a huge achievement!   Katrina came to my home to help me start my KonMari journey by helping me to sort through my wardrobe and declutter. She then helped to arrange the clothes and other items in a way that has enabled me to be able to see more clearly what I have and amazingly I now find they are actually more comfortable to wear when stored neatly! A friend has since commented that they didn't think I'd have time to arrange my clothes so neatly, but I actually find it saves me time as I now know where everything is in my wardrobe - no more frantic rummaging for a pair of socks - I can clearly see them all when I open my drawer! I had read the Marie Kondo book a few years ago but had failed to get going with the process. Katrina was just what I needed! She has a calm and straightforward approach. She understands the process well and helped to gently guide and keep me focused. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Katrina.

  Katrina has been helping me for a while now and it’s really made a massive difference. Piles of paper work to be sorted including important documents to be found had been hanging over me for years and in one session it was done and my mind clear. My clothes are now all visible and I wear so much more than just what was at the top of the washing pile. Since my kitchen has been done I’ve been inspired to actually take pride in it and clear up straight away rather than just create a pile of dishes. I am starting to have more time to myself than facing endless chores and I feel happier for it. We’ve still some more categories to tackle some I feel confident to do myself and some I just find overwhelming and don’t know where to begin so Katrina will be guiding me through it. I’ve come to the conclusion that the Kon Marie method is like staying fit, it’s not just a crash diet/mega clear out, it’s a change in your way of life and it’s definitely beneficial. Katrina is the perfect consultant for this process she is patient and understanding when I’m being indecisive yet firm and able to offer solutions when needed.

  Katrina is amazing!! I have always struggled with organization and having a hard time getting rid of things I don’t even use and she was so helpful. She came into my space without judgment and with kindness and support. She respected my things and treated everything with the same care she would treat her own items she loved. She was very flexible with my needs and made a plan specific to my own situation. A complete joy to work with and I would 100% work with her again and recommend her to anyone who needs even the slightest support in organization or spring cleaning etc. She was fully competent and can tackle any project bug or small!
