My daughter broke her glasses and was in need of a new pair the staff was very friendly got appointment easy and was contacted to collect glasses upon arriving they were fully checked to see if fit and made sure my daughter left happy very friendly and polite

I have been a specsavers customer for twenty years. I am on the contact lense scheme and never had an issue until my recent visit where i was charged an extra £10 for a scan which was never discussed with me or even mentioned at any time until the end when they insisted on the payment. As far as i am aware i get my contact lense check and eye test included so i really would advise being clear in future as it put me in a very awkward situation of having to make a payment which wasn't expected. I was also there with my children and as i was having my tests done they called my children in at different times without waiting for me. My kids are aged 11 and 8. They are both very confident but i think they should think about waiting to have a parent present as i wasn't spoken to in regards to the children's tests at any point during the visit. All in all not a very good experience on this occasion.
