I went to see Fisherman’s Friends, the musical last night, at Wimbledon Theatre. It was a terrific musical and all those who passed on it missed out big time! Thanks Spice London for putting it on your schedule. It was upbeat and jolly with amazing singing. Standing ovation and a roaring crowd at the end.

I had a lovely time with Spice at the Abba Voyage event. Pam (London Group coordinator) was excellent. She communicated all the neccessary details. She was the life and soul of the group, friendly and inclusive. She gave a lot of attention to all the group members and made sure our experience was top notch. The whole experience was very good.

In the last 7 days alone I’ve walked in the footsteps of the Call the Midwife cast, boarded 2 ships and a submarine, climbed a castle, marvelled at the inside of a stunning cathedral and fallen down the rabbit hole to joins Alice, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter at a tea party! I have been a member of spice for a good few years now, been to lots of various events, and made lots of friends I would never have met. They offer a vast range of activities to suit all budgets. From a quiz night to holidays abroad. More recently I have been on a number of ski trips. They are always well organized, great fun, and the members are always very friendly. I would recommend this group to anyone looking to join in with social and activity events.

I joined spice over 7 years, it is one of the best life decisions I have made. I’ve been on holidays, weekends away, activities and black tie events to name a few. I’ve laughed until my sides hurt and have made some fabulous friends from all over the country. Spice has something for everyone, so give it a go. The ski trips are fantastic and if you like to dance you will be in your element.

I have been a member for over 20 years and still intend to carry on. It opens up opportunities and experiences I wouldnt otherwise have the chance to do, whether that be black tie balls, too many variable weekends to list or social events and holidays. Sometimes it's what you make it, as in any organisation where new people meet but I've made a number of friendship groups that are still going strong and highly recommend joining and giving a go. One of the best decisions I've ever made.

I would recommend Spice to anyone who would like to meet like-minded and friendly people, and go on normal to unusual events.

I have been a member of Manchester Spice for around 23 years (!) having joined when in my mid twenties and have been on lots of amazing holidays with lovely easy going people. Just back from skiing in Andorra only yesterday! In the past I have been on many different social events such as walking, meals and various dancing classes... I've also loved skydiving, fire eating, paintball, tank driving, abseiling.... you can do as much or as little as you like! It's a great way of meeting people. The age group is currently around 40 to 70 years old, (the 70 year olds can ski whole days and are still "young" ☺) and so if you're looking for social events to make friends and/or adventure then give it a try! ☺ Thanks Spice! You have made me happy!
