  I saw Dr Masci for a painful Achilles injury/sensitivity that prevented me from running during the last year. He gave me an ultrasound guided hyaluronic acid injection into the tendon to prevent it from rubbing. I can now run again! I am being careful and building up distance slowly. Very grateful for this solution.

  I first came across Lorenzo Masci in January 2012 when he was recommended by my chiropractor. He worked wonders then so when I had been suffering recently for about three months from terrible pain in my left foot which I suspected was tendonitis. I decided to see if Lorenzo was still practising in London. I knew it would be months of waiting going through the NHS and I really felt the pain was colouring my quality of life. I tracked him down and he was as good as ever! Lorenzo is very patient, professional and a good listener. He explains clearly all possibilities. I had a cortisone injection guided through ultrasound. In the event, my problem has “disappeared” and I experienced no pain, needing neither ice pads nor painkillers and I remain pain free six weeks later. He is a genius!

  I visited Dr Lorenzo Masci twice this year for a long term injury of my inner tendon in my elbow. After an ultrasound scan he recommended needle fenestration treatment. I had 2 courses of treatment with him and after 4 years of constant pain I am finally back in the gym and able to sleep throughout the night with no pain. I recommend Dr Masci to anyone with a sports injury, I hope I won't have to visit him again but if another injury were to occur he's the man I'd call.

  I was met by Dr Lorenzo Masci last month in April 2022 regarding my shoulder injury. I explained to him abut my on-going pain for the last couple of months which was uncomfortable and painful. He explained to me what this would be done by scan assessment & steroid injections. The pain has gone completely and it is more comfortable. Highly recommended to see this amazing consultant despite that I went to other 2 consultants which were not successful.

  I have had a over a year of problems with my knee and calf which has led to me having to severely restrict my exercising and cycling. I have visited many doctors and consultants, and after eliminating different possibilities, it was thought that a Bakers Cyst and bad swelling of the knee were causing the acute calf pain. At my recent appointment with Dr Masci, he aspirated the cyst and gave me an anti-inflammatory injection in my knee, and although early days, there is a great improvement and I have been able to get back on my road bike. Dr Masci was very professional, explained everything to me in great detail, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him at all.

  I recently experienced a sore shoulder and attended Sports Doctor London for treatment. Dr Masci was professional in his approach and showed genuine care in trying to identify and remedy my injury. He explained in plain english my injury and after treatment provided me with simple exercises to help strengthen the shoulder to help prevent a recurrence of the injury. I cannot recommend him enough!

  I went to Dr Masci for a painful ganglion on my thumb. I contacted him and was told he might be able to aspirate it but he would need to take some images first to check what it was and that it may or may not be possible i found communication via his assistant Vicki really easy and helpful prior to my appointment. I had previously contacted another private healthcare facility and had found them much less helpful prior to booking and much more expensive! Dr Masci was really welcoming and caring and put me at my ease. He took his time and was clear what he was looking for. He found that it was quite a complex problem, something that couldn’t be aspirated but as communications prior to this had prepared me for this I wasn’t too disappointed. He explained why and suggested strongly that I approach the NHS and be a bit more insistent as they had been unable to help so far. He followed up promptly the same week with copies of the images and a letter for me to take to my doctor. I have a doctors appointment this weds and feel really prepared as to what to say. He also spoke to a colleague who is a hand surgeon and has informed me of the approximate cost if I want to take that route. I just feel he did his absolute best in every way. This is really affecting my life so I am very grateful to him and his assistant.

  I saw Dr. Masci recently on a couple of occasion - once for a carpal tunnel injury and an then again for an ultrasound injection on my right shoulder. He is extremely professional and attentive. In both occasions he was able to quickly identify and resolve my issues with excellent care during and also after the treatments. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Masci enough, he is excellent.

  When I was constantly breaking down 5 kilometres into a run, I sought help from Dr Masci. After ultrasound view he showed me the calf muscle/tendon damage. It took me a few months of strengthening exercises on his recommendation to get me back to 100 percent. Now running pain free. So glad there was no surgical intervention. Dr Masci has a great manner and seems to actually take time to explain the why of the pain in layman’s terms. I am keeping up the gym exercises and still running pain free. Thanks Doc.   Following a gym injury l attended Onewelbeck and was treated by Dr Lorenzo Marci. The resulting treatment was a cortisone injection into my shoulder with ultrasound guidance. Everything was explained clearly so that l had a good understanding of the process, treatment and recovery. The treatment worked better than l could have anticipated, and l recovered quickly and have not been troubled since.
