I was confirmed in 1985 in that church and I was also in the choir at that point Dr Charles Plummeridge was the organist and the choir master had many happy days there Father Melvyn Barsley and Father David with Father Reg so many sadly have passed away I knew back then Shelagh Irene Brian Bob Jill Thelma Rita Tim etc amazing singers and church members I moved away to the Channel Islands didn’t have a chance to say goodbye happened so quickly I love the Easter and Christmas services major part of my life I’ve heard Father Mel retired bless him moved to Cambridge many happy memories including the choir at christines wedding and the Knebworth house wedding ..... I’ll come visit again one day miss the atmosphere and the belonging we had as one huge family place ...
