The worst experience that as a family was to place our trust in this school, the students and families do not receive real support, the principal Mrs. Prayag wants to pretend to be interested in her students smiling falsely in the playground in front of the parents. I would never recommend it. Yours sincerely Parents

Poor communication, brush under the carpet anything uncomfortable but overall good educational experience - for children

I am an ex pupil of this school and I can say that I couldn’t have asked for a better primary school experience. The reviews below of the school just aren’t true - this is a very good school with great teachers, TAs and leadership staff.

St Mary's Primary School is such a warm friendly environment for all of the children including mine. Every morning the parents and children are greeted with a warm smile from the care taker and then collected from the playground by their teachers, who are always happy to stop and speak with parents. The same can be said for the Head Teacher who spent 20 min yesterday morning talking to me about some issues I am having at my youngest's nursery school, like the head teacher her assistant and deputy also both offer the same friendly happy to help feeling. St Mary's are in the 2% in progress NATIONALLY! It's not all strict learning and no fun though!! They often have fun projects like the "Vision Story" where they turned the school into a walk through theatre set where each room told us parents in a fun way about the schools values and vision all being displayed by the children. I truly believe this school will set my children up for life with the right morals, values and grades as the top 2% will reiterate. k

I went to this school as a child and was appalled by the poor standard of teaching and the awful handling of violent incidents, the management is poor and the only teacher in that school who deserves credit is "miss" Mayende.

Do not recommend this school. Sever lack of communication between teachers and parents. Children with learning issues overlooked because they can’t be bothered with the kids who struggle. They encourage the ones who are doing well and the ones who aren’t are basically unimportant. My child is now flourishing in a better local school.

My daughter joined St. Mary's last year and hasn't looked back. The staff work so hard and the children obviously respond brilliantly - check out their SATs results! More important though is daily life at the school, which seems to be full of warmth, kindness, focussed hard work, and FUN!
