Although I’ve had no trouble with Stacey’s itself, the few times I’ve won lots with them I’ve come across enormous trouble and expense finding an honest and reliable shipping company in their area. After winning a very inexpensive mirror from Stacey’s a few days ago, once again the shipping has proved strangely difficult. And Stacey’s seems wholly unconcerned. Today I ended up just telling them to discard the item because I couldn’t face the hassle or expense (one of their recommended shipping vendors quoted me five times the price of the item — even before I told him its dimension or weight). Stacey’s response? They asked if their could re-enter the item in another auction. Will never bid with them again.

AVOID. THEY SOLD ME FAKE GOLD RINGS! I Bought 2 catalogued and described as "9 carat gold" rings. One was a 9ct yellow gold and one white "9 ct gold" . Immediately after purchase took both rings to my jewelers since the white "gold" ring seemed too light in weight. Well...it turned out that the "white gold" WASN'T GOLD AT ALL, NOT EVEN SILVER BUT MADE OF A CHEAP METAL! When I emailed them to complain about the issue on top of everything they proceed to try to block my account on THE SALEROOM ... unsuccessfully, obviously. AVOID BUYING JEWELRY FROM THEM.
