20th December, Called out stannah as mothers stair lift stopped, £213.87, said needed a new motor but repair should last a few weeks. 2 days it lasted! Called them today to see if any hope of doing anything! As all over Xmas she was ill and stuck upstairs. Angie said to me when i said repair man had said a few weeks: " Its like being told you have cancer, and 6 months to live its a guess!" WOW: Not appropriate, especially when i lost my dad to cancer. She said she would speak to someone and call me back. Shock, horror it was a no, not their problem. If thats customer service i will pass.

Mug me im old ,this what the company loves helpless people in dire situtions ,what a load of thieves my Mother in law has there so called stairlift .Well under a service agreement =money need plenty of callouts = money ..She is told that you need a part they forgot to mention only a month ago when she paid £190 to have the thing serviced .So when she called them out again last week another £140 for some service ???but the service guy says to her she is in much need for this bottom gasket that is really important and might break down anytime now and the last service guy never mentioned it even though that was a month ago ...and yes wait for it will cost over £900 for this part what a lovely way to rob a old lady of nearly 94 years old .They should be closed down bunch of thieves .They charge what they want issues all the time with this stairlift thats used twice a day by my mother in law..
