Please do not send them the deposit. We had booked 2 nights for the group, and when the date was near, they asked the deposit, which was half of the total glamping payment, which is very weired. First of all, I have never been asked the depost when we do glamping, secondly it was too much for the depost. And I had the deposit back but 75 pounds short. When I contacted them, it was because we did use another glamping tent, which we did not book. But we did not use it. I explained to them we did not use any extra glamping tent, and explained to them I was in charge of all, and I was the last person to sleep, I told them 100% sure it was not us. But they still charged it. I told them it was not fair to charge us without telling. When I checked out in the reception, the lady told me go without checking it. And they charged it after one day. when I claimed we did not use it, and they said to me that they charged because of something else, which were damaged chair etc,,, which they did not tell me at the begining. So it is clear that they charged the money anyway. I challenge them to send me email what the charges were, and I am waiting for their email. Please do not send the deposit this place, and please check out with them when you check out, even if they say it is ok to go. I will post again the result of emaill. Once again, do not send the deposit to this place after booking.

Gorgeous campsite - perfect location, very low key, car parking just outside the campsite which means the site is car free so you’re not camping next to your car. Facilities are really good with excellent composting loos and lovely showers. The farm shop at the top of the drive is brilliant and has everything you could possibly need. Lovely walks locally. We had a fantastic weekend and will definitely come back, thank you so much.

A wonderful, quiet and tranquil camping and glamping spot. We stayed in one of the Safari tents. You get a lot of space, freedom and it's very relaxed. The Safari tents are really quite luxurious for camping with two bedrooms and living space, including hob, sink and seating area. The hot water boiler makes a noise when heating, feels like you might wake up everyone if your use it. Follow the rules of the toilet for everyone's benefit. :-) The only minor downside for some might be that to get to the camping fields you have to go through the back end of the country store/cafe and it's a bit shabby. That said, it really feels like you are in a typical agricultural setting. Please don't go here though. I don't want it spoilt. It's not for you. It's for me.

It was a bit of a disappointment. We were there in September on a day when there were showers on and off. We only have a small tent, and, although i asked, weren't allowed to leave the car next to it (campervans are allowed). This ment we had to keep walking to the car to get stuff (it gets really clammy in the tent so don't want to leave it there) and had nowhere dry to sit. We have tiny chairs that are near the ground and when the grass is too long, as it was, you get wet. The carpark looks OK on paper but looks out on a derelict part of the property. So not very nice sitting there. They also didn't mow the paths, so going to the toilet ment wet shoes from the long grass. We were only there with one other guest, so it would have been nice if they said just use the tables next to the bell tents or something like it. There is no way of controlling the heat of the showers, and the shower cabins are open to the air at the top and bottom. This means you'll be warm where the shower is but really cold elsewhere. The compost toilets smelled really bad, others we've used on our trip were better. Maybe a nice site in full summer, but not in this weather. Definitely not as the site manager is unconsidered to users of small tents.

Everything is spot on: from the camp layout to the cleanness not to mention the convenience of having a farm shop at the site. We will be back for sure with more tents 😄 Thank you
