Excellent service - worth paying extra for a cabin for a good nights sleep and a loo/shower. The Stena Plus lounge can also be used for sleep (in easy chairs) but we paid the extra and used it for the available buffet with wine, free in the price. Main course food and oddly beer, is chargeable. The lounge is at the front of the vessel and has a great view of the voyage. Really we couldn’t ask for more from a short sea ferry trip - we really enjoyed it and everybody was so friendly.

Very quick turnaround from check in to boarding. There was a lot of freight on my crossing and this meant that there was still a bit of loading to be done once all the passenger vehicles were on board, but we were all able to make ourselves comfortable in the various areas of the ship whilst the final lorries were brought on.
