Fantastic lunch service yesterday. Started with the pork pie, anchovy straws and chicken liver parfait with lashings of freshly shaved truffle, which were a perfect way to begin. For starters, the mussel cullen skink was seasoned to perfection with huge, plump mussels and crispy croutons. There was also the steak tartare which incredibly tender and plentiful. For mains I opted for the lamb chops with caper sauce which was cooked perfectly and took on the delightful flavour of the charcoal grill. Alongside the mains, we each managed to squeeze in the biggest, juiciest, best tasting scallop I have ever eaten. Doused in smoked butter and birch, this was a real stand out dish. I couldn't help but finish with the Macallan whiskey baba. The star of the show in my opinion and sodden in the good stuff. I'll be back for this alone. We shared a bottle of Domaine de Chenevieres Macon-Villages and Dubeouf Fleurie La Mandone which were served at the perfect temperatures and thoroughly enjoyed. The service is what really makes this place stand out from the rest. The waiting staff are incredibly attentive, friendly and seem to love what they do. If you haven't been I'd strongly recommend you go; we'll most certainly be back in the very near future.

I recently visited Stock Grill with high expectations due to its reputation as an elite restaurant, but unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. The main reason for my dissatisfaction was the quality of their steaks, which were shockingly bad. Despite their claims of serving the best cuts of meat, the steaks were tough, flavorless, and completely overcooked. I have never been so disappointed with a meal in my life. To add insult to injury, the service was slow and inattentive, and the atmosphere was lackluster. The restaurant itself is rather basic and lacks the charm and character that you would expect from an upscale establishment. Overall, I would not recommend Stock Grill to anyone looking for a quality dining experience. The steaks are simply not up to par, and the overall experience was underwhelming. Save your money and go elsewhere."

Wonderful restaurant. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was exceptional and even as a fussy vegetarian there was plenty I could choose from, and the restaurant manager was more than willing to help with any dietary requirements. Atmosphere was great - looking forward to coming back and a great new restaurant in Manchester
