October Books
The October Books team have been working with Darren at Studio - B.A.D Architects for over a year now on the redevelopment of an old bank building in the High Street in Portswood, Southampton. The project has had a strong community focus and Darren's work captured the community needs for our new space as will as the aspirations for the bookshop. In a project which has had continually changing requirements Darren has been flexible in his approach and made life easy when changes needed to be incorporated and come up with new solutions when budgets were dwindling. Darren has gone above and beyond the role of architect in this project and has bought so much more than designs and plans to the table. He has provided a professional, friendly, enthusiastic and visionary service.
