This company is hopeless. Our door has been significantly delayed. Just keep getting the run around from them and no concrete answers. Wish I'd never used them. We've done major building works, and these guys have been the only supplier that has let us down and failed to deliver things as expected.

Worst experience with this company, totally unreliable, waiting ages with continuous delays to have our window made and then installed, they came a couple of times, requested almost the full amount in advance but haven't completed the work yet. Really disappointed

Received an excellent service. After being let down by our usual supplier at the last minute, I happened on Suntrades almost by accident. Spoke to Paul who couldnt have been more helpful, reliable and prompt, was cheaper too.

I would definitely recommend Sun Trade , from start to finish nothing was to much trouble. The manager and his staff were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful answering all my questions before I made a decision on what to have. I was pleased with the end product and the fitting of my windows , skylight and front door.

From start to finish we’ve had a really unpleasant experience with Suntrade windows. I waited over a week for our quote (even though the website states a same day quote). Once I accepted the quote and paid the deposit I had to do all the chasing to find out when the windows would be fitted, if they had come into stock yet etc. I didn’t hear from them once. One day I called and they were in stock so I booked a fitting for the Saturday after. On the Saturday morning I realised that we hadn’t had any communication (apart from the day we booked the fitting) as to wether the fitting was still going ahead and/or a time we should be expecting them. The store is closed on a Saturday so I was unable to reach the store by telephone. So I sent an email explaining how unhappy I was with the lack of communication from them and was wondering if they would still be arriving today and a rough time this would be. I left my phone number at the bottom of the email so I could be contacted more efficiently. After half an hour or so I received a phone call (from who I think is a director) apologising for the lack of communication and stating he would call who he needed to find out what was going on. 5 minutes after that phone call i received another from Paul. He was shouting down the phone at me. That is in no way an exaggeration. Saying things like “I can’t believe you woke up the managing director of the company on a Saturday morning”, “what is your attitude - I told you last week when we spoke the windows would be fitting today and they are”. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I honestly couldn’t believe I, as a customer was being spoken to like that. I had done nothing wrong. Suntrade have a customer service commitment on their website it states they have “a long standing commitment to providing the highest levels of customer service” or my personal favourite “ we will always treat you with respect, be polite, and courteous”. They absolutely do not adhere to these commitments and they couldn’t be any further from the truth. Shortly after I received a text message from Paul apologising for the way he had spoken to me and that the window fitters would be arriving around 11. The fitters arrived around 11. They had left the old windows and some rubbish out the front and told me that would be collected on Monday. They also showed me some marks on the walls below the windows from where they had knocked into them causing some damage. Monday came and just the windows were taken. (I’m not sure if that was by Suntrade or if it was by scrap metal collectors) but some of the rubbish was still left out the front. With Suntrade you pay 50% before the job and 50% after. I decided that as I had to chase them all in the beginning if they wanted the rest of their money I would wait for them to contact me. 2.5 months passed and I finally received a text message from Paul. The first communication since the windows had been fitted back in May. It stated that we needed to settle the other 50% and to give him a call. I replied telling him I wasn’t actually happy still that damage was done and rubbish was still left and that I was thinking about talking to someone else within the company as after the way he spoke to me at time it was difficult to bring up these issues with him. Well Paul wasn’t just having a bad day the last time. It must just be the way he is. Rude. He then went on to tell me I couldn’t deal with anyone else in the business. He is so unprofessional and rude I genuinely cannot believe he has a job working with customers. After receiving that text message I just didn’t want to deal with him anymore. It seemed as though he wanted a fight. So I contacted the same director from the Saturday asking if he could get someone else to contact me to pay. I am currently waiting for that phone call. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. I would honestly tell you to stay well clear and spend your money elsewhere.

After leaving this review, I had a very positive call from the Director at Suntrade. He said he would ask the manufacturers for advice, and would call back - but I havent heard back. That was 5 weeks ago - unfortunately i dont have a number to reach him on. ---- We were initially pleased when we bought all our windows and doors from Sun Trade last year for our extension. After everything was fitted, it became apparent that bifolds have a significant problem. If there is any wind at all when the doors are open, the bifold door swings, slamming shut. It is clear that the magnets are not strong enough to hold the doors. I have contacted Sun Trade numerous times. Each time they promise to call but I have never heard back from him. We are now 5 months down the line but we have had no response. When the wind catches the door it slams back very heavily. I am concerned for the safety of anyone using the door when open, particularly our children, and guests. Can someone please contact me and help fix the problem? there is supposed to be a "10 year guarantee"

The windows and doors themselves seem OK but I am not an expert. However customer service when things go wrong is awful. I have been waiting about 2 years now for them to put right my conservatory roof. I have been extremely patient due to the pandemic and other problems the firm is supposed to have had but it's getting ridiculous now. Umpteen phone call and still waiting for any progress in getting the faults put right.
