  Stay away from these rude and unprofessional people. After getting some quotes, HML was the cheapest one which put me in some doubt, but they told me their prices are lower because they are a new company looking to build a base of clients. After checking their Instagram page, it looked like they were good enough for a slightly small job. When I decided to go ahead with them, they’ve asked me how many coats we needed, as I had no idea about painting I said, “2 but what do you think?” In the end of the day, they are the professionals so I’m sure they can advise well, I thought. They said “2 is a clean finish unless you are going to rent it out” so we went with 2 coats. Afterwards I’ve asked how long it will take, they said “If we do it in a long day, we can finish in 1 day”. Again, having no idea about the business, I trusted the professionals and decided to accept that. On the day of the painting unfortunately I fell asleep because the battery of my phone died, they waited 30 minutes for me, so they charged me for £80 extra which is a lot if you ask me but fair enough, it was my fault. I’ve apologised tremendously and offered to pay for their lunch, I didn’t have to, but I felt bad for them. After the job was complete, I came to the flat and I wasn’t satisfied 100%, there were clearly patches/shades of the old colour and the new one, especially in the corners. They guaranteed that is normal for that to happen when is fresh paint, I did my research, and it is true. So, they told me to wait 2/3 days and then check if we were happy. I’ve waited 3 days and came back to the flat, the patches/shades were still clearly there, there were some small dots of paint on the carpet and most of my switches and handles were with bits of paint. They guaranteed me that they covered everything very well and that those drips weren’t done by them, it was done by previous painters. All lies because the paint drops were fresh and thankfully came out easily. Also, they mentioned that 2 coats were applied everywhere and in certain places even 3 coats. To make things worse they mentioned that we needed a third coat as it’s a Victorian style and walls have condensation. All I could hear was excuses and on top of that why didn’t they mentioned that was advised 3 coats before starting the job? I did ask how many coats they thought it would have been better and they were the ones that said 2 was enough, only when I said I wasn't happy they mentioned 3 coats and even after the job was done and we could see patches they never mentioned to apply a third coat to make it look better. I kindly asked to finish a job that clearly wasn’t done properly after being dissatisfied, they said it’s not fair on them to do it for free and if we weren’t happy, we could ask for other professional opinions, and so we did. One of the professionals we asked said that they were 100% sure that some parts of the patches/shades, especially in the corners weren’t definitely 2 coats. Knowing about this I texted them and said that the job wasn’t done properly, and it was rushed. I obviously felt entitled to ask them to come back and finish the job, but they denied what I’ve said, saying that I agreed with 2 coats and 1 day to finish the painting job also they continued to say that we needed a third coat, so why haven’t they said that straight from the beginning? Annoyed at the unfairness and excuses I said that I would leave a bad review about them on every possible platform, so they went far and beyond at this point, they said the following: “Is that a threat? Because we have written proof of you saying you wanted it in 1 day, we will take legal action once you lied about those fake reviews”. After this point I just started to laugh about how stupid they are to think that they can take legal action on my opinion about their services, or more precisely the lack of it. They even threated me saying “let’s see how much does your opinion costs you then”. Service: Interior painting

  Malik and Rohi replaced wallpaper of one bedroom in Februrary. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work they did. Malik also gave me constructive suggestions on choosing wallpaper and I was impressed by his kindnes, helpfulness and patience. Based on their previous success, I have given them another big home project, which includes decorating living room, hallway, ceilings and another bedroom. The new project have just begun and I'm sure they would do well again.

  I would highly recommend using HML. They did both ,wallpapering and painting in my living room. Their work is to a very high standard. The wallpaper is seamless, done to perfection. If you want work carried out to a very high standard, these are the best. They really work hard to get the job done. They are certainly very hard working. I have already booked them in for a second job. Could not be more satisfied with the work that they have done in my living room. Service: Interior painting
