Disappointed............... had a Hormann electric garage door fitted nearly 3 years ago. when it was first installed, the wheels made a slight bump when they went over one of the track joints... all worked so assumed this was normal. Gradually got worse until about 3 months ago, it was so bad that the door wouldn't close unless I pulled it down at the same time the motor was try to do it. Phoned up and all they could do was to come round and look at it in 3 weeks time for £135 and they wanted the money now. Not very good when you've spent £2000 on the door. Warranty on the installation was 2 years and that I should have told them inside the 2 year period that something didn't seem right so it was tough. Contacted Garage Door Workshop in Hockliffe and they came round in 3 days time.... no money asked for in advance...... slightly more expensive at £150 though worth it. In fact they didn't even ask for the money immediately the job was done....... sent me an email invoice a few days later. They spent an hour sorting it all out and he really knew what he was doing............... showed me the main problem was the springs were wrongly tensioned , the track joints needed adjusting + the horizontal tracking inside the garage was sloping when it should have been horizontal..... all faults from the original installation Anyway........... all working ok now though I'm really disappointed with their service and will be using the Garage Door Workshop Ltd in the future and not recommending SWR even though they do offer £100 for a recommendation!! .

I needed a new garage door and SWR fitted one that was not only good quality but value for money given the range I had seen elsewhere. They recycled not only the old one but even an old doorframe that I couldn't fit in my car and for under £900 I still managed to opt for a four bar lock vs the standard two.
