FAQ

What level of care do you provide for residents?

We provide assisted living care for our residents, which includes help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. We also offer specialized care for those who have dementia or other memory-related conditions. Our goal is to ensure that our residents are safe, comfortable, and able to maintain their independence as much as possible.

What is the staff-to-resident ratio at your facility?

We have a high staff-to-resident ratio to ensure that each resident receives personalized attention and care. Our staffing levels vary depending on the needs of our residents, but we always have enough staff on hand to meet their needs and ensure their safety.

How are residents' medical needs addressed and managed?

Our care team works closely with residents and their doctors to ensure that all medical needs are addressed and managed effectively. We have trained staff who can administer medication and provide other medical services as needed. We also have relationships with outside healthcare providers to ensure that our residents have access to any additional medical services they may need.

Are there any additional fees or charges beyond the monthly rate?

We strive to make our pricing transparent and all-inclusive. Our monthly rate covers all basic care services, meals, and housekeeping, as well as most activities and events. However, there may be additional fees for certain specialized services or events, such as transportation or outings.

How are family members or loved ones involved in the care of residents?

We encourage family members and loved ones to be involved in the care of our residents in whatever way they feel comfortable. We provide regular updates on their loved one's health and well-being, and we welcome family members to visit and participate in activities and events. We also have a family council that meets regularly to discuss any issues or concerns that may arise.

They are all very very nice and caring. Rooms are a bit small. Lovely surroundings and an excellent garden. The biggest downside is that they use Parkbury House Surgery that used GPs that do not visit! They do have good facilities for early dementia but if the residents' health declines they cannot provide nursing care. Like us, the resident has to then be re-homed.

Working here as a volunteer here was very good. The place is very active with the community allowing busier residents to take trips to town and see sights ensuring comfort. I worked on the lower level which had less serious patients with carers not nurses. But, the standard of care was very good, I would definitely trust the team to care for my grandmother, patient, responsive and understanding. A nice community feel to it, with a beautiful a well kept exterior and interior, combined with appropriate security technology. I enjoyed running quizes here, as you really get a sense of the community formed and the strong friendly relationships between the carers and the residents
