The staff in this convenience store are always friendly and make you feel welcome. They greet you upon you entering store and are there if you need any assistance. However they don’t overwhelm you by asking continuously if they can help . When paying they enter into conversation with you (even remembering things you have previously mentioned, making you feel valued). My family visited me recently and I took my autistic brother with me to grab some snacks . My brother was asking about the flavours of a certain sports drink and made it clear that he wasn’t going to buy anything else but the workers still chatted with him , answering his questions. I thought they went above and beyond what was needed of them as we had made our purchase and they didn’t need to answer my brothers questions ( they could have politely told him when they had the drink he wanted in stock they would sort his queries out ). My brother was very impressed telling me “that’s the nicest shop keeper I met”. That’s a great compliment coming from my bro. The prices are a little higher than the major supermarkets but that’s to be expected from a convenience store.
