    Really was disappointed with this company. Our parents used the same driver for a pick up from a wedding and were charged £27. For our journey, which was all of 5mins longer, he then tried charging me and my partner £55. We could tell he was just trying his luck as he didn’t have his meter on and he randomly plucked the figure of £55 hoping we would pay it. We didn’t have that amount of cash on us and he accepted £45 - course he did as the journey wasn’t even worth that. Really disappointed as he was taking advantage of a young couple in the hope that he could make a massive profit from us on the last journey of his night. Would never normally write a review but this taxi driver shouldn’t get away with ripping people off.

    Answered phone quickly so 2 stars. Then the guy found out we were in Kelvedon and said no won't do there. Either maldon or Witham. Thankfully found a taxi firm that helped out straight away from Hatfield Peverel and very efficient. Wierd reply ... a taxi firm that only does the two towns . Crazy but takes all sorts
