From start to finish, we had the most perfect stay. Everything was faultless. The welcome, the service, the room, the food, drinks, breakfast, location, and the pub itself are all wonderful. Special shout out to our friendly breakfast waitress and our fabulous housekeeper who made such a lovely fuss of our little Cockapoo, Biscuit. We are already planning our return visit.

Beautiful Pub in the centre of Lancaster overlooking a square, good stock of beers and lovely rooms with a good size bathroom in mine, 6'6" and can stand upright in the shower for a change. Walkability: Town centre location with lots to do within walking distance, council car park at the end of the street with ring-go app

Just want to thank the borough and its amazing staff who organised a small funeral buffet for my family and I today . We were so looked after and the staff even set the buffet out for us in the garden as the weather was nice . The buffet was plentiful and delicious and set out beautifully. Special thanks to molly who was so attentive throughout. Thanks to all x
