Our 1st visit to this small boutique style hotel adjacent to Harrods in Knightsbridge proved to be the calm and tranquil 2 day stay in London that we needed. Upon entering the small hotel lobby we had a warm, and homely welcome from concierge Clive and the reception desk team. Check in was slick and our room ready for occupation ; Clive immediately whisked away our luggage to the room. The immaculate room (227 at the back of the hotel) though small had all the comforts needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had 2 very restful nights sleep ; Nespresso machine, safe, empty fridge, excellent quality toiletries and bath towels and robes adorned the room The breakfast/dining room was airy, intimate and comfortable without being stuffy. At the time of our visit there was extensive building work being carried out adjacent to the hotel though it did not impinge on the general peace and tranquility of the hotel. The breakfast and evening meals were of excellent quality and served by attentive staff. Our evening meal ,orchestrated by the very charming and knowledgeable Food and Beverage Manager ,Enrico Savino, was a delight of superbly cooked lamb and a Bavette steak ( so tender - as this can a difficult cut of beef to cook well ) and both complemented/perfectly paired with a bottle of Italian red wine chosen by Enrico. The hotel has few public rooms adding to the overall homely feeling. An added bonus was the close proximity to a fee paying Car Park just opposite the hotel in Pavilion Rd. We had driven up from South Wales. To sum up - a gem of a small hotel to which we will undoubtedly return and encourage others to visit. Mr & Mrs Curtis, Visitors from South Wales,UK.

One of the concierge staff was very rude and disrespectful! He was yelling, murmuring racist comments in his language, and making some bizarre gestures. Big Thumbs Down! Safety: Rude unprofessional staff raises some safety concerns!
