We will be forever grateful to CRP clinic for everything that they have done for us to get our baby here safely. After a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks and an ectopic pregnancy we didn't have much hope that things would work out. We welcomed our beautiful baby boy in March and he wouldn't be here without Professor Shehata's work on reproductive immunology. The entire team at CRP went above and beyond for us. Dr Edge was amazing and a big support to us during the anxious early weeks of my pregnancy. We also cannot thank Professor Akolekar enough for his advice and support throughout. The midwives and reception team were so kind and helpful and we always felt at home when we visited the clinic, so much so that we felt sad when we finally said goodbye. Thank you again CRP for everything that you do to make dreams come true.

I attended the CRP clinic after suffering from recurrent miscarriage at 8, 12 and 19 weeks. The pregnancy was successful and we had a healthy baby girl in October 2022. I had the full immunotherapy treatment plan including intralipid infusions.Dr silva was my main Dr throughout the pregnancy and she was incredible at supporting parents who have been through loss. I also had the extra fetal medicine scans by Prof Akolekar. These scans at CRP were longer and more detailed than the 12+20 week scan on offer by the NHS. The prof noticed that I had a serious pregnancy complication that was missed by my local NHS hospital scans. His diagnosis meant that I needed an early C section which I had without further complication and his diagnosis almost certainly saved our baby's life. Yes the clinic is eye wateringly expensive for the average person, and I think the administrative side could be more upfront about the full treatment costs from the start as it was not overly clear to us \(and we had a few surprises cost wise along the way), but of course for us as it worked it was 100% worth it. The midwives and nurses were extremely caring and the scans are all done very sensitively and in a style that is supportive for parents who have gone through loss. Thank you for helping us complete our family with our baby Dorothy!

A huge heartfelt thank you for making mine and my wife’s dream come true. Earlier this week, we were delighted to welcome our beautiful daughter into the world. The last three years have been incredibly tough, with two miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. When my wife had an ectopic pregnancy in 2022 we would never have thought we would have been at this point a year later! The whole team at the CRP clinic have been incredible but we would like to take the opportunity to pay a particular thank you to Professor Shehata, Dr Edge, Professor Akolekar and all the midwife team who went above and beyond. We know that without their amazing help and kindness we would not be here today. We are also so grateful for Professor Shehata’s care during my wife’s ectopic pregnancy last year where he went above and beyond to ensure she was safe even coming in on a Sunday. Our very best wishes & huge thanks once again for changing our lives.

We received excellent care throughout our IVF journey and cannot thank Mr Jan, Geri, Mr Shehata and the rest of the team for their care and attentiveness. I felt very safe and cared for, they took the time to offer me clear advice and I was offered a treatment plan based on the latest research and evidence based practice. When I compared my experiences with others who were under other private ivf clinics, including well known names, I knew we were very lucky. We are so grateful for our healthy 4 month old son today, thanks to you. Sarah & Bowie Dee.

I have 2 beautiful babies from visiting Mr Shehata and his team on both separate occasions. I cannot give anything but 5 stars. We had 5 miscarriages when I did not have the treatment and can only deduct that the treatment was a huge success. I am very grateful for that. The journey is emotional and can be costly, my honest review is that you cannot expect to be counselled with part of your treatment and so you need to have any expectations of this aside. Thank you so much for everything, I have recommended and will continue to recommend this clinic as we believe it has changed our lives.

If I could give CRP clinic more stars I would!! I cannot recommend enough!! I started my journey with Dr Shehata after a series of miscarriages and zero help from NHS. After some simple tests he was able to diagnose my issues and put a plan in place, sadly i wasnt very fortunate for it to be a speedy positive pregnancy result at no fault of Dr Shehata or clinic! But I listened to his advice and followed his plan, we did extensive research on him and can confirm he is as knowledgeable, qualified and experienced as all evidence we found on him and put our full trust in his plan. Then i was introduced to Dr Edge :) who can only be described as my fertility angel!! She didnt change plan but suggested i undertook a hyfosy and thank god she did! This was exactly what i needed for plan in place to show results, i fell pregnant that very month!! I had a couple of worrying scares to which Dr Edge always made time to see me, reassured and calmed me down and luckily was able to give nothing but positive news on every appointment. Dr Edge is very experienced and the advice she gave me every step of the way was always efficient and beneficial! I cannot round this review up without mentioning the nurses, such a great team of ladies!!! Sophie and Geri are fantastic and looked after me very well!! Today i was discharged after a successful 20 week scan, and have no words to express my gratitude and thanks to all staff including admin staff, reception, nurses, Dr Shehata and especially to Dr Edge.

I visited Dr Shehata after recommendations in 2020-2021 after i’d experienced 3 miscarriages and a ruptured ectopic, hoping that a fifth pregnancy would be successful with his treatment. It felt as though, at every step of the way, that they were just after our money. We didn’t want the infusions but were told we either have to have all of the recommended treatment or non at all. Which wasn’t very understanding of them. Mr Shehata, never informed us of any poor outcomes (something we should have asked about too) but sadly our baby boy was incompatible with life, found at our 20 week scan. This, is surely data which should be collected following his treatment. I emailed the clinic about our issues and nothing was documented. I was just emailed back saying to let them know when we’re ready to part with our money again. Needless to say, we havnt been back and never would.

The clinic were recommended to us and after 2 miscarriages and an ectopic we felt this was the only option. Our situation is complex but after 5 cycles on the super ovulation programme it hasn't worked for us and it seems IVF is now our only option. We have felt, at times, that we were just a number at the CRP Clinic which has been disappointing for us, especially considering the costs. It can also be difficult to make contact to book appointments which is frustrating. We did feed that back and they did listen and seem to value our feedback. When considering this option do bear in the mind that its likely to be very costly and an emotional rollercoaster with a lot of information to take on board. Also prepare yourself with a plan B incase it doesn't work as this journey is a tough one!
