Chloe and Claire went above and beyond with our birth and postpartum recovery, especially after I had an unplanned c-section. They both supported me and my partner throughout labour in changing positions, making food and just being a friendly and encouraging voice and we honestly could not have done it without the both of them. Especially in supporting us in the evolving situation of Labour with educated decision making. They were amazing help around the house and made incredible food for us to eat in those first few tough weeks. We also trusted them when we had appointments to care for our newborn. Having the house tidy and a healthy meal honestly made such a massive difference in the newborn stage and I really appreciated it! Chloe and Claire are now not just our Doulas but great friends and we are so lucky that they are part of our new families lives as they were part of such a magical time for our family. In the 9 month build-up to becoming a first-time mum, the concept of 'doula' sounded too good to be true - someone to 'mother the mother' as well as provide experience and care with all things relating to the baby. What I hadn't expected was to get to know two such kind, generous, knowledgeable women, and feel so deeply supported by them from the very first session we had together. From invaluable breastfeeding support in the very earliest days to shopping, cooking, even taking the bins out, Chloe and Claire are a doula dream team. They were incredibly flexible with our session planning, wonderfully responsive on WhatsApp, really well organised, unbelievable value for money and I can't really adequately express how much I appreciate and value their involvement in our new little family. Thank you Doula Sisters! I cannot recommend them enough.
