Lovely, welcoming pub that has an excellent selection of cask ales and delicious pizzas. Close to the centre but feels remote from the hustle. We stayed in the Air BnB above the pub and that too was amazing. Will definitely be back

Great little pub. Of the beaten track, but we'll worth looking for. Staff are great, and the service is top-notch. It's small, it's got a feeling of being your local, but it is all welcoming. Good selection of beer and gins. Not had the pizzas, but they smell amazing. Make sure you book a table as it's busy.

a good place for a drink beyond the York Wall, perfect for relaxed conversations and unwinding after a long day. Doesn't really have a partying vibe.
