Beautiful sculpture of a group of horses. The work by Hamish Mackie transmits strength and energy. The water helps to maximise the impact. As the author explained, the 6 Goodman’s Fields horses who would normally be harnessed to toil to the streets, find their stable door accidentally left open. They are wild horses again, running at full tilt, playfully bucking and rearing, tossing tails and hooves skywards. A moment of freedom. A beautiful tribute to these magnificent creatures.
