Golf range is great, especially for older kids (9/10 years old), they absolutely love it. Put card against the machine to get a load of balls, fill up a basket, find a space and fill some details in the screen and it measures your shots. Kids lessons are really good too. Friendly, enthusiastic staff. Loads of different times to suit. Loads of parking. In the summer the restaurant bat stays open longer so you can get something while the kids are having fun.

Beautiful place to hang out in good weather. The gym is a bit small but its never too busy and has enough to do a good workout. The Spa and sauna facilities are great. Would recommend the cold shower with sauna. Also has a driving range with top tracer for practicing golf. Recommend.

First time playing at The Hertfordshire and it didn't disappoint. The staff in the pro shop were very welcoming and the shop itself had a decent collection on offer. The course was in great condition. The greens were true from one hole to the next and gave great confidence with the putter knowing you could trust the roll. The rough was tough. Quite thick and grabby but a fair punishment for being off line. Overall a brilliant course and a great challenge with all sorts of holes on offer. Not too long, not too short. I shot 90 which was slightly better than average for me if it helps give a guide as to how you might get on.
