    Fun fact the IC stands for incompetent. Not so much as the members. But the institute itself. Funny they demand professional competence from members and lack it in droves. Back office personnel are useless and brainless. Student support are mindless drools incapable of reasoning or thinking for themselves. Shambolic.

    I found ICAEW being the professional body of chartered accountants in the UK very unhelpful in dealing with a fraudulent case of a member of their institute. Their accountants can obviously act and behave as they wish, even if it is against government instructions. Certainly not a legal institute to trust, or to take side with the client or the government guidelines.
