I found Iron Works Malmesbury on eBay. I had been trying to source made to measure railings for months with many let downs. Found Iron Works....... Brilliant. Fast simple communication, great price, courier delivery very well packed and simple installation. I only wished I had found them first time and saved all the hassle. I came across this company on eBay while looking for a wrought iron gate and liked the look of their workmanship, but I needed something a little different. After doing a little research and checking all their posted photos of gates they had produced for previous customers, I found a design I liked. I then contacted Chris Evans giving him all my requirements and sizes for my gate. This was a little unusual as it needed to open outwards with the hinges on the left and the welded joints of the ring clasps on the rear face. I paid my money and waited the projected eight week for the dispatch notification. Covid delayed this by a couple of weeks, but that wasn't a problem as I was prepared to wait for a quality product... and I was not disappointed. Everyone of my requests had been completed perfectly. The finished gate, which is 31" wide ( made for a 3' opening) and is 6' tall weighs in at 50 kg, the workmanship is superb and I cannot fault it. I opted to have the gate galvanised and will paint it myself by hand using a etch primer and Smooth Satin Hammerite for a more rustic appearance. This was quite an expensive purchase, but I wanted something special and in my eyes, it is worth every penny. Service: Custom fabrication

The Ironworks & Gate Company in Malmesbury have just delivered two pairs of estate driveway gates on time and manufactured to the highest standards. This is a family-run business that actually manufactures its own products from the basic raw materials. Our driveway gates are heavy duty iron, galvanised and powder coated and were constructed to our own bespoke measurements. We are absolutely delighted with them. Throughout the process the communication from Chris, the owner, was outstanding and he personally made the delivery and gave invaluable advice regarding installation. Nothing was too much trouble for him and it has been a pleasure dealing with this company. We have no hesitation in recommending them and their products. Service: Custom fabrication
