After a good five months of bringing my drinks group to this pub, I've finally had enough. Whoever is managing this place and in charge of table bookings is completely incompetent. Getting online bookings confirmed is near impossible, and no one has ever answered the phone despite trying to call time and time again over multiple days at all hours. There have been instances where I have had to walk down there and ask in person to have my booking confirmed. Yet, time and time again, after finally securing the booking, I've arrived at the place to find no table reserved. There have then been many instances where after being told to take any table as my confirmed booking doesn't exist in their system, my group has then been moved because another booking has the space. I won't even start on the terrible and slow bar service. In a time where establishments cry poor and state they can't get enough people through the door, this venue has lost a fortnightly booking of 12-20 people due to the fact they can't even manage to click a button on an online booking system and place a reserved sign on a table.

Lovely Fullers pub - so great for a pint of Pride, ESB or HSB which are all delicious. Also a clean and tidy pub with a nice bar and friendly staff. Had the Sunday roast today, chose roast beef and it was delicious. Not overcooked and plenty of it. It came with roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, parsnip, carrot and a side dish of vegetables. A large portion so left feeling nicely full. Has to be one of the best roasts in Guildford. We will definitely be back for more.

Great pub. Can order food and drink at the table via the website and staff bring over. Well laid out for social distancing and all rules followed. Back to normal now (Dec 2022) but kitchen shut for a refurb. Delicious mulled wine available 😋 Very dog friendly with water bowls available as well as some dog beds and blankets.
