    The York Mansion house is another fascinating place, you can get a discount on the admission with an English Heritage card. Again nice polite and informative staff onsite providing good information on the rooms and we even had a demonstration in the kitchen on an old recipe based on the locals two favourite things Chocolate Wine. We were not able to have a taste of the finished product but it smelt exactly how it sounds.
