James was very welcoming,helpful and wonderful to talk "wine" with - the concept and atmosphere of this lovely establishment is a rare find in todays' money money money London - this is a proper wine merchant and the quality and range of wines will not let you down - well worth the visit.Enjoy !

I recently attended a wine tasting evening at the Perfect bottle, hosted by James & William. It was such a fantastic evening, we were able to sample some amazing bottles (Champagne/White/Red/Sweet) from Italy, France and Australia. I have returned on a number occasions to purchase various bottles for special occasions. I must say, I’ve bought bottles from a number of the other wine shops in the area, but willingness to spend time answering questions and giving guidance as needed, really sets this shop apart.

A hidden gem. Popped in on the off chance and was amazed at the selection. Since been back 3 times to purchase bottles for special occasions as well as for a Friday night treat - each one absolutely hit the mark. The wines are delicious (as one might expect from the top-class selection) but they are also sensibly priced. On top of this James is supremely knowledgeable and always willing to help guide your selection whether around current interests or into interesting wines to try. I'll be back
