FAQ
What is your experience and training in craniosacral therapy?
We have extensive experience and training in craniosacral therapy, having received specialized education and certification in this field. We are passionate about bringing the benefits of this gentle yet powerful therapy to our clients. How does craniosacral therapy differ from other types of manual therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works to release restrictions in the body's craniosacral system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and surrounding membranes and fluids. Unlike other types of manual therapy, it focuses on the subtle rhythms and movements of the body, and seeks to restore balance and harmony to the entire system. Can craniosacral therapy be helpful for my specific condition or symptoms?
Craniosacral therapy has been shown to be effective for a wide range of conditions and symptoms, including headaches, migraines, chronic pain, stress and anxiety, TMJ dysfunction, and many others. We would be happy to discuss your specific concerns and whether craniosacral therapy may be helpful for you.How many sessions will I need and what can I expect during a typical session?
The number of sessions needed varies depending on the individual and their specific concerns, but many people experience significant improvement after just a few sessions. During a typical session, you will lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table, while we use light touch to evaluate and release restrictions in your craniosacral system. Sessions are generally very relaxing and gentle. What is your approach to integrating craniosacral therapy with other treatments or therapies I may be receiving?
We are committed to working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive and integrated care. We would be happy to discuss your other treatments and therapies, and work together to create a personalized plan that meets your unique needs and goals.Reviews

I highly recommend seeing Kiran if you are pregnant. I saw another chiropractor initially and only wish I had found Kiran sooner. She was able to help relieve my debilitating sciatica pain (previously unchanged by others). At the end of my pregnancy, I’m convinced her adjustment & massage helped kickstart labour. She has the magic touch!

I was suffering from terrible sciatica at 28 weeks pregnant and never did I ever think it could be cured before the baby came. I thought I was destined to be uncomfortable for the rest of my pregnancy. I was recommended to go and see Kiran. I virtually crawled into the room and she took one look at me and could see my body was wrecked! With her magical hands, 45 mins later I walked out the room feeling like a new person. 3 weeks later I had ligament pain in another area (joys of pregnancy) and was told by midwife just to take paracetamol… I went back to see Kiran- she worked on the ligament and again sorted it. Every single person should go and see her! Best best money spent and she is such a friendly person. A Wonder Woman!

Kiran is a magician. Whenever A friend tells me she’s pregnant I urge her to go see Kiran. She alleviates all the body aches that come with pregnancy and prepares your body for delivery. She’s a godsend and a must.

I have been seeing Kiran for the past two and a half years for various back and neck pains and most recently; throughout my second pregnancy. She is completely wonderful and a true expert in her field. The labour for my second baby was infinitely more of a positive experience and so much faster, than with my firstborn and I put this largely down to having seen kiran before this birth. I didn’t see a chiropractor before my first child was born. She has a deep and personable understanding of pre-natal care. Aswell as being an amazing chiropractor, she radiates positivity and joy. She is like sunshine to be around and I always leave her clinic feeling like I’m floating on a cloud; relaxed, positive and un-crumpled!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Kiran Gill enough - its been a great experience! I started seeing her in my 2nd trimester when I was experiencing lower back pain. After seeing her once, I felt like a new person. I've continued seeing her throughout my pregnancy and am now at 39 weeks. She is very knowledgeable, puts my mind at ease, and my body feels open and prepared for a healthy labour. Very glad to have met her and will definitely continue to see her after baby arrives.

I've never had any sciatic issues prior to seeing Dr Gill. After an adjustment at around 13 weeks (first time) pregnant, I've been left with constant sciatic pain. I came across Dr Gill while looking for a chiropractor that specialised in pregnancy. During the consultation and recorded on the signed paperwork beforehand I did not identify any lower back issues. Simply because I've never had any. During the consultation I found her to be pleasant and helpful in suggesting stretches to help with my neck and shoulder pain. Towards the end of the session Dr Gill pressed into my lower back / gluteus. I was advised to ice the area, which I did. However, a day or two later I began suffering from severe pain. Obviously concerned about the baby I rang a friends chiropractor that was based nearby and they suggested it sounded like an adjustment that tripped up the sciatic nerve. I also called another chiropractor to check this and they said the same. Both independent chiropractors stated due to the pregnancy they only advise physio and no further adjustments. This has left me with a very expensive treatment cost following the session with Dr Gill. While I appreciate her prompt response to my emails of complaint, including the offer of another follow up appointment, I am really shocked. I did not take up the offer of a follow-up appointment, simply because I am concerned about potentially more issues and possible impact to the baby. I am absolutely devastated and in constant pain as a result. Not to mention out of pocket with the regular physio now required.
