Great place for a conference. Attended a Sickle Cell Disorders workshop discussing patient experience and patient preferences. Discussing alternative pathways from Emergency Department. For instance Ambulatory Unit/ Day units/ Hyperacute units or Haematology wards. ED needs to be enhanced to ensure equitable access to high standards care for individuals with Sickle Cell Disorders.
